Originally we launched our agency with a proprietary ecommerce system of our own devising and then throughout 2009 we noticed a distinct change in the ecommerce landscape that led us to rethink and start developing our first Magento Community Websites.
After our first few projects we began to look for more developers to join us, and after a few false starts we partnered up with a team of developers in The Ukraine; although we have UK developers the main bulk of our 18 strong programming team is based there. The reasons behind this choice are simple – the Ukraine has some of the best technical Universities in the world and a huge developer community working for mostly international retailers; and Magento was initially conceived there. Some of our employees even worked on the first versions of the platform.
