Since 2001 Magento has changed the face of fashion ecommerce. More than 100,000 online merchants use the platform to power their retailing. That’s down to its feature-rich flexibility and total scalability, giving today’s ecommerce merchants the options they need to keep up with the pace of the industry.
MODA captured this trend as early as 2009 and we were quick to react by integrating leading Magento expertise into our team. Now we’ve got a team of 18 Magento ninjas who know how to drive the system way beyond its core capabilities.
Many of these are Ukraine based. Why? The reasoning’s simple. The Ukraine excels in technical development, with a vast base of specialists in Magento features development. Some of our Magento experts even worked on the first version of the now global platform. That’s something not many fashion ecommerce providers can say.
Beyond ‘Year 1′ clients are increasingly looking for solutions to integrate their EPOS systems with stock, auditing and accounting systems. As businesses grow stock control and reporting periods can become a big issue
This year we have started working with Touch Retail on the EPOS front and have recently completed a project where we mated a client’s denim stock to Magento. No mean feat as the brands were not even standard within themselves, some were US, some UK/EU, some vanity and some own size ranges brands had invented themselves. For us the advantage of working with Touch Retail is we can help existing retail business migrate on line and still view all their stock in place. If an item sells on the shop floor it’s removed from Magento and vice versa. Right now we’re working on a system that will integrate a Magento based cosmetics website with a busy real world store before delivering it all to Mumbai.
In addition to EPOS we’re also able to service clients needing help with Quick Books, SAGE and the People Vox Warehouse Management System which is used by our fashion logistics partners.
